Is this Mugen bodywork?

Post by prahunt » Fri Oct 24, 2014 9:38 pm

Saw this pic floating around, and wondering if this Lude is rocking a Mugen body kit?

If so does anyone know where I can get this from? Or if anyone has the parts for sale. I'd be very interested in getting them.

Yep they are mugen sides - cant tell if they are genuine or copies though :) Theres a whole load of fitting hardware that goes with the genuine kit so you can remove the stock side skirts altogether which means you can save a fair bit of weight :)
I seem to remeber some debate over whether mugen made rear spats or not - I dont think they ever did and the spats are actually made by Hiro :?

Hmmmm. I didn't want to get any copies or replica stuff.
Only want to add these body parts if genuine.

This is the ad I saw. Couldn't decide if they were genuine or not. :?

Cheers for the info!

Is there a brochure or listing of genuine parts anywhere? If I google search Prelude Mugen, the amount of horrendous results is scary. I have seen a 3rd Gen Mugen brochure but not a 4th Gen one.

Oh, great... Now I have a bidding war on my hands
(I'm the first and current bidder on these)

If anyone else is thinking of bidding, let's not shaft one another by bidding each other up into paying a horrendous amount - the only person that wins there is the seller.
Drop me a PM and let's discuss off-line how much we each want them (i.e. how much we're prepared to pay)?

Don't worry. I won't take them. I thought someone else on here may be watching/bidding.
I don't want to get them anymore.
