Try opik kleer. I use a guy in notts who has his own business with them. He's excellent and will have a go at anything.

And don't tell them someone else has looked at it, just tell them you have a problem with the glass and it needs fixing. They can work the rest out when they arrive!

After I clean my car I generally give it a quick whip round with a QD, glass and all.. I pretty much never need to use my wipers as the water beads up and flies off. ..it drives the gf crazy!
