Wet sand with increasingly fine sandpaper, polish and lacquer

You need to get off all that old tatty lacquer.
From when I did it:
The scratches and yellowness on the OEM's
Sanded Vs unsanded
400 grit sanded (left) Vs 1200 grit sanded (right)
Sorry I dont have a pic of them all polished and re-lacquered. I need to do them again now.
