Cheers Drax, its a 2.2 manual UKDM, it looks better than it is bodily tbh, it has a few knocks and both bumpers need re-aligning, but once the suspension is up to scratch i'll look at getting it sorted out, hopefully :) i'll have to do wheeler dealers type thing and start the body work.

And it was only going to be a cheap winter runaround :roll: and its taken over my life... :whistle:

Seems to be the way . . . . My track lude was ment to be a budget 'toy' but its now starting to cost me an arm, or 2 :lol: All I think about is what will the next upgraded part will be :lol: 8-) :roll: :guns:

Looking good chap, had 4ws on mine, fixed it, it broke, then I took it out in favor for 2ws on the track. There is probably not many 4th gen 4ws left anymore!!
One life, LIVE IT! Get VTEC, LOVE it. Drive a Honda and ENJOY it.

I can see this car costing me silly money, over the next how many years, but i do love it, its puts a huge grin on my face when i drive it so i'm affraid its going to turn into a pit to throw money into :? as its already cost me twice as much as i bought it for just replacing worn out suspension parts and trying to get the 4WS to work properly, but i gave up on that and after owning a 4G BB4 about 12 years ago then a 5G 4WS i didn't like the 5G as much as it always felt loose around fast bends, so i think i've made the right choice in ditching the rear steering, as the car feels soooo much more planted now.

Any hoo, if anyone has two front lower suspension arms going cheap, i'll releave them from you for some cash, don't care if the bushes are fubared, as i've got some poly bushing to do on the fronts now they've arrived to day :D and don't want the car off the road too long

Think they're just bigging up the virtues of 4WS in their opinion ;)
Just light-hearted banter.
Now you mention it its obvious, guess i was a little overly sensitive this morning :?
Yeah, as Wurly says, no offence meant. :D

For me, personally, 4WS is a fundamental part of what the 3rd, 4th and 5th Ludes are about. I love the theory behind it, I love the beautifully judged implementation from a technical perspective, and most of all I love how it works in practice, and the devastating agility it gives the car down very twisty roads and through fast combinations.

It is all just banter though. :D

No worries Doggo, i was having a couple of bad days, its all good mate.

Tbh, i agree in the theory of the 4WS and in practice (when it works :? ) the car was agile down twisty roads, but sadly it was becomming a problem that i just couldn't seem to fix no matter what i did, and it now resides in my garage, on the plus side the back ends feels more predictable now.

But its strange Honda never fitted the 4WS system at any of their other cars :whistle:

Accords;

I think it was an (expensive) option on them though, whereas it was standard on vtec and 2.3 Ludes, so they're much less common.
