5G FOR SALE

Post by Mark Shannon » Sat Oct 25, 2014 11:33 am

Sorry, can't work out how to put a photo here.

RHD 1997 R. Honda Prelude 2.2 VTi VTEC Auto. 4WS. UK Supplied. Metallic blue with black leather. 89,717 miles. Working electric tilt slide glass sunroof, with internal blind. Barn stored several years. Runs (very sweetly) drives and stops but no MOT. Leather in very good nick albeit dirty - rear seats look barely used. Slight crease driver side front wing. Cracked rear bumper. Odd scuffs etc. Drivers side mirror housing cracked. Passenger mirror glued in. Think electric cooling fan not working.

See here for pictures and walk around video:

Sensible offers please.

Welcome to LG!!

To be honest you'd be better taking out the leather seats and selling them separatley. The seats are probably worth more than the rest of the car.

Yes, thank you. I have come to understand this. Need the space the car is taking up though ! And I think this particular car, being really quite rust free, is worth saving.

Being brutally honest: you'll be waiting a long time for the right person IMO. The UKs are not that desirable, being an auto in this state... even less so. You'd do well to at least throw a bucket of water over the exterior and give that interior a wipe, looks like you have mould. A quick clean would certainly make it seem more appealing.

I'd have thought you'd be better off flying over, buying the car and driving it back, then breaking it?
