From the 'photo, it would appear fairly similar. Will check mine out tomorrow, as I,m not sure if it's the alternator or battery at fault. More likely to be alternator, as the battery was new last year. I've also only used the car around town for the last month or so, so she may need a good run to charge the battery properly. Although despite the battery being flat tonight after my commute home from volunteering, the headlights did dim and glow dependant on engine revs. suggesting the alternator is actually working. I'll do a test tomorrow morning with my 'meter.

I have a spare 3g alternator that came with the love child. Have absolutely no idea on mileage/whether it works though I'm afraid!
You can use a 4g alternator, with some minor re-work and if you get hold of the 4g tensioner bolt as well (check my 91 3g profile thread for the info)

Super Secret 1G (not really super secret!)
Not for me Mike!
If mine are not orginial i might as well enlarge the current front speaker hole (in the door card) which would allow me to replace front speakers without removing the door cards
Original plans was to keep everything as stock as possible!
But if its a lot of bother removing the front door card,
and rear speaker covers no longer fit new speakers - then might as well fit new.
I mean, already learnt my spare wheel also NOT original
Whatelse?!!!
Lol
