Rainsport 3's were going to be on the cards for the next tyre swap (rears need doing in 6months), but my choice is now definately going to be:Wayne2014 wrote:Cheers Cutz!
I might try to source a set of 16 or 15" alloys with Rainsport then ...
205/45/16 Michelin Pilot Sport 3's - Standard equipment on the Ferrari 458 Italia

so they'll be pukka for my ride...Funkytyres do good prices on them aswell...think he quoted me £70 each which is a bloody bargain!

I've got some unknown winter tyres on the lude and they're ok in the wet unless you push really hard, but on my other car i have Hankook, Ventus Prime K115 in 225-50-16 and they are brill in the wet, can't recommend these highly enough considering there less than £60 each

To be fair the Pilot Sport 2's and 3's are standard on BMWs but I changed to those Syron Race 1 plus' and think they performed better on my E46. The pilots seemed bad in the wet, they span more than the Syrons. Just my experience. Oh and they are nearly have the price as mentioned before Pilots are silly money.wurlycorner wrote:They do require a second mortgage to buy though?Wayne2014 wrote:Pilot sport good in wet too?
