To clarify - that's In Car Entertainment - not frozen water

3G: Fogs not working

Post by Wayne2014 » Sat Dec 06, 2014 10:49 am

Anyone know:

1. How to replace bulbs?
2. Remove fogs to check for wires/earth?
3. Do i need to remove bumper to gain access?

Thanks!

Remove the front splash guards I expect (wheel arch liners)? Have a look in the service manual I suggest.
Beware, unless the bumper has been off recently, the clips that the bolts at the front screw into will be drokked and will probably mangle up the plastic, unless you're very careful.

Actually, that red connector you can see is for the fog light. If you have a multimeter, unplug that and you can check if the bulb is ok etc from there, without dismantling anything else.

U need to remove the front indicator as well as the side light u removed
Once u remove the amber indicator u see a 10mm or 12mm Bolt exactly across
Tht holds the whole fog lamp
Remove the bolt un plug wiring
U have the fog lamp in your hand.
