What 5G Prelude should I buy.

Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

^^ :D

I find that shATTS makes the car soooo focused, that's it's best to leave it in the garage altogether and drive a beemer instead to get my thrills.
And as for 4WQueer, that makes the car soooo wildly unpredictable, that every time I try to leave McDonalds, the back end comes around and I end up in the drive through again.

;)

Look, Preludes are for old people:
ATTS is for people that overcook corners.
4WS is for people that can't park.
EL dials are for the ones whose eyesight is going.
5th gen interiors are for those that want to take the feel of the care home with them.
Parking poles are for those that can't tell how big the car is.
Air purifiers are for the ones that need more oxygen for their breathing difficulties.
In dash TV's are for those that just don't want to miss Countdown.
5th gen headlights are for the ones who can't find their car in the car park.
Leather interiors are for those with incontinence.

Are we done?

We can discuss the clever ways they try to make a FWD car feel sporty but we all know that RWD with an LSD and enough grunt to kick it out is where the rubber meets the road.

Your point is valid but only to a point  :P

@merc: you have a quadcopter at my window or what? :?
6th gen Prelude please Mr Honda. RWD 2.4 turbo lude.

I'm glad you all saw that I was being deliberate facetious, as this thread was in danger of spiralling into the same old same old...which isn't even valid - When you're in hifi, you don't compare an amp to a set of speakers.

I must just clear some things up for the record while we're here though:

I am not an ATTS/Type S/5th gen hater! :!:
I admit that back when I bought my lude (and was 25... :( ), I didn't get on with the looks of the 5th, but I think it's aged extremely well and the right one can look great. Rattys and Rude Ludes for example I think are really cracking looking cars.
And honestly, I don't even think the headlights are that big
I do however think it's funny that quite a few 5th genners these days, particularly state-side, seem to try to cut the corners off the lights, or various other methods to make them look smaller. It's almost like a self perpetuating 'does my bum look big in this?' !

If I ever make jokes, it's exactly that. A joke, for jokes sake and between mates.
I always feel that I try to make them fairly, i.e., the Famliy Guy approach. :D I guess they will sometimes appear biased though because of the gen I have, but that's not intentional.

I am NOT anti ATTS/pro 4WS/anything else for that matter. I believe in the tool for the job and the spec that suits the individual, hence, I kept my 4WS and added some grunt and an ATR LSD. Suits me fine. 8-)

Which brings this nicely back on topic. - @Sam, as a few of us have said, you really should just buy the lude that YOU want to drive. Sure, glean as much knowledge as you can about different specs and types, but they are just that.

I've just re-read and realised:

.
That ^ could be read in two ways as you work on sounds systems don't you LLL? - It wasn't a reference to you and I wasn't saying that's what YOU were doing, it was a generalisation I just naturally picked hifi as an example as I used to work in it. 8-)
