hi,
im having problems with my lude so i hope you will be able to help.
My rpms are stuck on 2000 and engine works on 3 cylinders but if you rev than all 4 works and pulls good.
I got h22a blacktop bottom and redtop head
Checked compression
4- 9
3- 12
2- 16
1- 16
what should i do?
look for type s bottom(or inside bits) or just get another blacktop? And could it happen because i've never remapped ecu for this engine setting? or because redtop and blacktop is bad combo because different compression and i've damaged my pistons?

wait have you checked your dizzy leads spark plugs? earth straps?

So are you saying you have an h22a2 bottom and an h22a7 (PDE) head?
Don't have the manual to hand (on the phone) so I don't know what the compression specs are, but you shouldn't have that much variation in cylinder compression, something is up with no.4 by the looks.
Was there any work done to the engine immediately prior yo this problem?
Why your idle revs are stuck at 2k though I have no idea, that shouldn't be related at all.

no i was just accelerating and rpms just stayed on 2000 rpm. Some mechanic said that this could be related because if one cylinder isnt working right car cant idle with 3cylinders on 800rpms because it will just die, so ecu is raising rpms so car wouldnt die. Dunno if thats possible .
