Looks like there's a lot of metallic sparkle in that paint.
Good to see it coming together.

Re: Petee's Lude 4th Gen H23 - NEW PAINT JOB NO RUST

Cheers all.

Am so excited to get her back. Am amazed how much darker she looks. Compared the original paint to the new finish and she comes up a few shades darker. Must be from all the sun we get in England.... 8-)

Re: Petee's Lude 4th Gen H23 - The Unbearable Wait

Post by prahunt » Sun Feb 01, 2015 12:47 pm

This wait continues....
She is nearing completion, I went in this Saturday and they have started to machine polish her. I didn't think it would make much difference after the new paint. I mean how shiny can a car get right? But OH MY GOD!!! 8-) 8-) 8-)

She looked stunning. Thankfully it is picking up pace now. She was due to be finished this weekend, but another customer wanted his Morgan done sooner which delayed mine. But I did put it into them on the 'I'm in no hurry, take your time' job scale....

Doesn't help I went with my mate to pick up this stunning beauty...

May not be everyone's taste (my mate is an Alfa fanatic) but this is a stunning car. However now I really want my Prelude back so we can rock around in the two...

They're gorgeous looking cars. The stuck on chrome fuel flap cover on that particular one looks jobby, but aside from that, looks like a fantastic example 8-)
