Haven't checked cel yet but I cleaned vtec solenoid and drove for 5miles and vtec didn't work at all! Then went into gym for hour came out drove home 5 mile and it vtecd in every gear just fine. Strange

Dodgy oil pressure sender on the spool valve body? Or dodgy connection/wire to it?

Yip temp is fine oil level fine my sump is badly dented tho could that be the problem as the oil pickup tubes in there if I'v read right lol but don't see why it would just sort itself out. Another thing I just thought of is my mate had the car a was welding an engine mount for me Dono if he disconnected battery could this have caused damaged

Dented sump can cause it, haven't seen it happen for a few years mind

This is my sump the car vtecs fine in 1st 2nd but starts doing it in 3rd 4th noticed tonight it done it in 2nd round a tight left corner

Also the boy that changed my mani took the lamba censor out it's been like this for over a month tho could that cause it? It's really starting to annoy me now

That sump looks wasted. Also, you have no o2 sensor fitted?

yeah there's no sensor in it . It's been like that for over a month with no problem could not having one cause the vtec to stop working ?
