Nope, it's what you thought it was vanzep - the rocker cover gasket/seal is what I was talking about.
Was saying that it tends to leak at the corners where the cut-outs are to go over the end of the camshaft (where the distributor and the cam end seal go). Those corners of the seal being where you need to add the sealant.

ah cool thats what i thought.
Ive got a new seal to fit and a couple of the studs that screw into the head - i think i may have stripped the thread on the one near the distributor when i redid the seal last time :roll:
got a few spares this time round ;)

might be worth mentioning to @simonc that these studs are easy to overtighten and strip the thread so always good to have a few spares on hand just in case.
