Personally, im a firm believer in ebay/halfords specials. Others will disagree and we can argue all day about which filter is best but at the end of the day...its just some cotton over an intake pipe.

If I feel a bit rich I love pipercross. But I know people hate them because maf failure or something

AEM or most prefer an OEM dual chamber intake with a K&N filter.

Compared to your eBay special then yes.. V2 sounds much better, looks better and probably is better in performance too.

type S OEM and a k&n panel filter seemed to work best for mine. I had that, a stock filter, an ebay special and I borrowed an aem. The OEM pipework and k&n filter gave the most linear power curve and felt the best balance after a good long testing drive with each type and swapping them over.

The ebay pipe sounded like a chav had stolen the car and the engine had more vibration and gave a lumpy power curve. The aem had a nice sound but the power curve was not very smooth as well. Stock filter just felt very stock. The k&n had a nice balance between them.
6th gen Prelude please Mr Honda. RWD 2.4 turbo lude.
