Aah, good - you can hopefully answer something I've been wondering then since the tax rules changed and all the insurance checking went on-line rather than using documentation etc! How do the those systems (MID and the DVLA) handle a car running on foreign plates? Is it a bit of a nightmare or do they work ok?

The Dartford crossing system is bum droppings even on UK plates (I have no idea if I owe them money or I'm in credit

) so I don't have much confidence in them working on foreign plates!
