work has started but one more little issue

Im going to get the kph to mph chip removed as theres no vtec in first so going to need kph....

Erm, I'm confused by that last one tbh? :?
You currently have kph el dials with a convertor chip.
So the direct replacement would be kph dials.
Get that bit.
But you say you want to remove your convertor chip so you want kph dials.
Surely if you want to remove the kph convertor, then you would want mph dials? :?
No? :?

If i remove the chip i get vtec in first as the speedo needs to be upto 20mph before vtwc can kick in. But if i remove the chip im back to kph reading however will fitting a mph clock give me mph reading without changing anything?

Right now the el dials say mph but go upto 180 mph assuming someone has modified them in the past as in someone has removed the kph logo to mph

MPH dials will read in MPH without the convertor. Best of both worlds then as your reading in MPH but have vtec in first. ;)

I have no VTEC in first, I'd like it, but I'm too scared to start drokking with the wiring.. and I couldn't locate the converter chip last time I looked :(

And is it true some of the preludes came without vtec in first? Mine deffo has the chip in it and im sure removing it will sort things but vtec direct tell me some of them didnt have vtec in first. Ive had three of these cars now and never had that issue
