Stage 3 - Now its coming together
okay almost a week late its update time
as few may know ive been saving some parts up to go on the prelude before Japfest and last week i decided to get busy and bolt some bits on..
started on Thursday by fitting the cut rear bumper and welding my dolphin tip (J's racing replica) back box on. The bumper was simple but as you can imagine getting the silencer on straight was a little tricky..
Friday night i quickly put my chargespeed front lip on
, massive thanks to @Drax for selling me this it looks epic imo..
Saturday morning i started by painting my custom spoiler mounts.

then i moved onto stripping the rear seats, seat belts and drivers seat belt out leaving the interior side trim in as i do want to try keep some subtlety to the interior, future plans are maybe carpet the area where the seats were and the rear bulk head area. i have also put a fire extinguisher in the back (better safe than sorry after the fuel rail incedent).
after this i put one of my corbeau revolution bucket seat on modified sabelt side mounts bolted to lude rails in along with motomec harness..

i love these seats, just feel deep
i do havea pair of thes but im not fitting one on the passenger side yet as the Mrs will just complain more than she already is
i have however just got a black cobra recliner which may go in at some point..
also put in a detachable steering boss..

then it was time for the final fitment of my massive carbon rear wing!!!!
once that was done i give her a quick clean inside and out and just admired it for abit

the rear silencer hangs abit low which i wasnt sure about at first but its grown on me and i think kinda goes with the "no drokks given" rear wing
i still plan on just heat wrapping the pipework abit to make it look a little better..

still have a couple of small exterior mods to go on next week which should finish it nicely... for now
I took it for my first proper drive last night and it handles like it is on rails thanks to the tyres and suspension
certainly turns some heads as well, possibly due to the noise it makes from that exhaust being loader than the tsudo i removed
All in all im very happy with how it looks, feels and handles.. now just to save up for a full on trackday and possibly look into entering a hillclimb event in the future..oh and more POWEEEER!!

Re: My BB4 "granada black beauty" finally updated..
Cheers all!
Took the old girl for a good drive today..
Totally in love with it now, the handling in wet and dry conditions is just brilliant and the noise makes it toooo addictive
Overall I did 204 miles, used £45 worth of fuel but best £45 I've spent for a while

My mate came along in his Ibiza Cupra and another few in a 1.0 3 cylinder corsa which must of been thrashed to death constantly!

These pictures were taken at the EVO triangle, awesome roads!
