This debate rages on and on :D
There's not a massive amount in it but some of the aftermarket ones do give small benefits.
Noise is the biggest change tbh :D

I've only seen back-back tests of intakes run on the H22A engine, so no idea what the impact on an F22B would be?

Probably not alot other than pssshhhhhhh on accelerator lift off haha

I'll probably just put a ITG / K&N etc panel filter in not as a point to gain extra power but to reduce servicing costs over time. If I do go down the route I'm thinking of ie camber, lowered etc twill be a static show piece anyway.

XD

Breathing is breathing if it works on one engine from that period it will most likely give the same sort of results on other engines of the same era

Yep, but if the F22B will need less air than an H22, so if they have used the same intake as the H22 it possibly already has all (and more) that it could use, or if not, the potential gains would be even less...

its still a 2.2 the only difference is vtec and if the graphs on the H22 show improvement anywhere other than 5.5k rpm then it will work on the f22???

Don't forget though this is an auto so again you could argue whether it's worth it or not. :)
