Scrappy to avoid

Post by indigolemon » Mon Jun 29, 2015 4:06 pm

After a lot of fun trying to get a door handle for my Dad's civic from these people, we've eventually had to go to the credit card company and ask them to recover the money for us. They seem unable to discern colour or side of vehicle.

So would recommend avoiding any dealings with:

Foreign Car Spares Ltd
The Rolling Mill
166 Parkfield Road
Alum Rock
Birmingham
B8 3AY

After them repeatedly sending the wrong part (and us posting it back at our cost) we were told:
Foreign Car Spares Ltd wrote:That's life, deal with it.
And when we suggested that it wasn't in fact just life, and we'd quite like the part they promised they had and would send, we were told:
Foreign Car Spares Ltd wrote:You're just wasting our time, please don't call back again.
... before they hung up on us.

So yes, my top tip for today is not to bother using them. Please let your friends know too, I'd hate anyone else to find themselves in a fight with these clowns. It's been an incredibly frustrating experience, and a complete waste of our time ... *click* ... dooooooooooooooooooooo

I think that's closer to being the inverse of the truth. Too small to cope, big enough not to care is a rubbish tagline though!

Sounds like a real bunch of w#nkers but the eBay feedback is good.
eBay and PayPal are a good way of avoiding problems like this. They don't want negative feedback or problems with PayPal.
Sorry to hear you got ditched like this
