Hi,
I am new to these cars but have fallen in love with them.
After a few bad experiences looking at them lately I am keen to find a good one.
Can you let me know best price please.
thanks

Bad experience only in that people have mislead me…. Drove 3.5 hrs to Southampton to look at a car . Cheap and agreed at £550 but then found only half a v5 and also the name and address of the document wasn't the address of where I was… Tried to tell me was ok, but how could I know what was what…. I am cynical at the best of times… wasn't gonna buy a car however cheap with docs half missing and in wrong name/address. Maybe I am too cautious. 8 hrs of my life wasted and £50 fuel….. oh well.
Just want an honest car and honest seller.

I'm looking for £2k with all the mods and also an Alpine CD player and 4x upgraded Cerwin Vega 6.5" 2-way speakers all round which didn’t make it into the stats on the first page.

I think this is a fair price with the rare factory chassis, factory parts and mods.

Also I have an important update, the car is infact not a cat C, I've checked this online here:

https://www.gov.uk/vehicle-identity-che ... vic-marker

I also called them to confirm and there are no records of it being a cat C or having a VIC indicator set, I think is may be due to repairing the car myself or the insurance company plain forgetting/screwing-up but in any case it's a nice surprise as it was a worry for some people who have been interested in the car. Anybody can call the number on that page and ask with the reg and make in-hand.

As for your experiences all I can say is that the V5C for this car is complete and in my possession, I have a big wad of receipts for all the service items I've bought for her ect. The best thing to do is come down a see the car, if we agree a date and a time, I'll be there.

Please read the full post though, this car has had accident damage which I've repaired, it has PS delete which some people will not like, and the clutch can slip at high temps or sat in traffic for an extend amount of time (has been this way for 3 years). This info has also been in the post from the start.
