I have had this on both my ludes. I have never found out what it is but think it could possibly be the inner cv's as I have had both the outers replaced and discs and calipers and it still does it. I don't get any loud banging though if its launched. Never caused a problem just more of an annoyance really.

Have you been under and grabbed the shafts and yanked them about? That's the only way to tell.
