That's a shame after all this time.prelude91 wrote:Interesting to see how this sells. Mine may be up for sale soon.

Had her for 15 + years, rarely cost money for the M.O.T. rear upper bushes been a pig this year, though. Bought a Rover 75 Diesel Estate to go back in to landscaping. And thanks for the thought, Sailor. Spent six fruitless months on this job hunting lark, and what a farce, so decided to do something for myself.

There is no way this car should be thought of going for scrap, and there's no way the breakers yard will be doing that if buying £700 - that's a price to sell on, not to break. They won't get their money back in scrap at that price. Going rate is about £250 max.

I had a feeling they were probably going to sell it on as they had some beauties on the side for sale. At first they wanted me to px with a 1990 Honda Civic gl sedan 1.4 auto in light blue but I refused and that's when we negotiated a price of £700 which I am thinking of doing if I can't do any betterwurlycorner wrote:There is no way this car should be thought of going for scrap, and there's no way the breakers yard will be doing that if buying £700 - that's a price to sell on, not to break.
