I always brag about my garage and how much if a tight fit it is.

May us this as an excuse to either get the accord gearbox and clutch. Or upgrade mine with lightened flywheel, competition clutch and LSD.

I'd be looking at a clutch bleed and fluid change before I rip the box off personally, sounds hydraulic to me as if it were the clutch it would get worse the hot it got I would have thought.

Fluid change sounds like a plan to me, too - easy quick and cheap first step.
