New classic car mag

Just what the market has been crying out for, imo.
Potential for all the decent cars that the snobs turn their noses up at because they're 'not old enough'...

did see it didnt pick it up though magazines are all about how many adverts they can squeeze in now very thin on content

Normally true, definitely agreed, but not in this case (maybe because it's just the first issue?) only 6 pages of ads in the first 60.
Lots of content. Next 40 pages are the trade and classified section and it's probably 1/3rd ads. But that's ok imo - that's what that section is meant to be about and it's all car related, not full of aftershave etc.

The magazine clearly has taste:

;) :P

Next issue has this:

Agree Iain, far too many rags succumbed to the ad dollar featuring the wonderful aspirational stuff (and what's with the watch porn every month?) but not grounded in dirty-fingernail reality.
I love reading 'Octane', 'Car' and 'Classic Cars' et al, with all the dreams and hopes they feature, but I really would enjoy something like this mag's features that focus on a more rational/realistic level.
Hope it works out for them. I'll be sure to pick up a copy when I land in sunny (*ahem*) Manchester on t'22nd.

Just to clarify, I meant 'wrist watch porn' not, err, 'watch porn'. ;)
