If you wear a tracksuit regularly and are somewhat young looking, it definitely looks stolen

I've had the Insignia 2.0 CDTI 163bhp for about a year and as an estate has loads of room and since owning it has averaged 50mpg. Pretty quick with a lot of torque, although the main dealers are worse than awful.

Just bare in mind (if you're looking for a diseasel) the huge amount of issues with dpf's. I've just been working on a Mazda 5 2.0 diesel (same engine as mazda 6) and that's had loads of dpf issues. Just replacing it now (at a cost of around £1,000 on parts).

I have a renault laguna 1.9 dci which is fantastic. Comfy and fairly economical - averaging around 60 mpg on motorways and 48mpg around the town. Shares parts with Nissan so similar to the Nissan Primera.

I've heard that if you're looking at a civic diesel then go for a dtec one as opposed to the cdti. Can't remember why but there was some sound resonant behind it.

This is what I did to every diesel, saves on big bills and you get cheap power.
