Hello All

Post by parvindersingh888 » Fri Oct 30, 2015 7:04 am

Hello All

Glad to join this web site. I have a Honda Prelude; the same one for over 12 years. It's a 1994 2.3i 4WS Automatic.

Main reason I joined was to seek advice and assistance on obtaining spare part. I need:
Part No. 11833-P14-A00 Rubber C, Timing Belt Back Seal

Part No. 90002-PT0-000 Bolt B, Timing Belt Cover

Part No. 90401-P14-A00 Rubber, Timing Belt Adjuster

They are available in US, but they don't ship to UK. If anyone has any of them please let me know.

I took my car in to local Honda Garage in London to service and look at minor oil leak. They took apart timing belt section and rocker gasket without checking if parts were available first.

Regards

Parvinder Singh

Welcome.
Sorry to hear that Honda couldn't provide the parts.
If they are available from Honda US, then a UK Honda dealer should be able to get the stock moved through their parts distribution network I would have thought???

Hello wurlycorner

Thanks for your reply to my post.

Honda in Chiswick are being very unhelpful. I asked them to try and get the parts I need from Honda in the US. After all, it is one and the same company. I also asked Honda Customer service in Berkshire twice. None of them has done anything to help. Honda Customer service is quite useless and uncaring of their customers, unless they want to sell you a new car.

I'm trying Honda in Canada and Japan at the moment.

The search continues.

That's unfortunate. My local Honda dealer have been very helpful for things like that.

You could try asking one of our American or Canadian members to help, by buying it for you and posting over? They have been known to do that before :D

If you open a new thread with a subject calling for help from them, it might bring in some offers.
