Towing

Post by damon » Sat Nov 14, 2015 8:30 pm

Good evening.
Am hoping to buy another breaker 106 gti but it has no mot,tax and won't be insured. Can I just tow it back on a rigid bar? As I don't really want to pay for a tow truck?

Use a proper towing bar or an A frame if u can can get one that way u don't need anybody to sit in the car being towed

The car is 2 hours away, tow truck is a little expensive.

I towed a prelude last weekend 45 miles with a A frame with no problems whatsoever I had 2 traffic police cars and 1 normal police car pass me and I never got stopped once the prelude being towed had no mot,tax or insurance and no wing mirrors, headlights or rear lights just used a lightboard strappes to the roof lol
