Ok @fefelarue I've been under the 91 facelift B20A7 today, with pre-facelift downpipe in hand and... I can't see any difference. Length, flanges etc all look the same. The only difference I could spot was that the facelift had built-in heat shields on the pipes in the front section, whereas the pre-face didn't.
That's similar to the difference between jdm and ukdm 4g (jdm has built in heat shields, ukdm doesn't) and the heat shields make no difference to fitment. (It might also just be because the facelift I have is an oem downpipe, whereas the pre-face is an aftermarket replacement I think - just a big standard cheap thing, nothing performance...).
I also can't see any difference between the manifolds, but to caveat that, I haven't removed the manifold heat shields on either, to check 100%. However, I really can't see what would be different in order to prevent fitment.
Only thing I would suggest you should still check, is whether the US pre-face didn't have cats, but the facelift did? If so, that might make a difference to the rear flange. Other than that... I would suggest nothing to point to any difference.
FWIW, some pics of the facelift downpipe setup, below;
