i would not say it is grinding sound, first thing that would come on my mind is like listening to diesel engine or like tapping valvesek9sid wrote:Is it a sort of grinding sound?

ok, but what should i tell him about potential errors with the installation? I talked to a few mechanics and most of them are saying: ˝you almost can not install clutch the wrong way so it should not be a problem˝mercutio wrote:yeah thats the release bearing shouldnt be noisy like that
it could be a material defect, but just in case i would like to know anyway
I think saving money at reinstalling the clutch at the same mechanic would be nice too.

http://mantic.com.au/sub_resources/driv ... ement.html
i will tell him about what i find/read on internet/forums and let him listen to the sound and drive the car etc...
i believe he will sort out the problem in the end.
