Yep might be right @4thgenphil i think we all had roughly the same valuation given the condition of it and bearing in mind it didnt have an MOT.
Did you take it for a test drive?
Im sure once its been tidied and any issues sorted it will be worth a lot more....to me anyway ;)
How many unmodified and fully loaded BB1's with good bodywork do you see...not many ;)
Paintwork is stunning :)

Got the new lude to steves garage today and got a load of jobs done with help from @newkid and @3rd gen steve :)
Also good news is the chassis is very clean  only really rusty part that i can see is the fuel filler neck.
however it looks like it has all been undersealed by previous owner which is a bonus;)

Mega clean lude.

Everything I worked on removed/fitted like a new car. Wish they were all like that

And thank God you got rid of that awful back box at the first opportunity

Nice work already, what was the odometer reading?Just curious..
Very clean looking externally which is a big bonus.
My previous 4g was the same colour,i loved it,when the sun catches it the Grey lightens up and comes through but on the duller days(which yous have many of  ) a real nice metallic Black is prominent.
Nice buy, best of luck with it.

Yea think you missed a trick there bud.

Exhaust is actually pretty good. Problem is when people fit a jdm exhaust and fit it with a ukdm cat  due to this the backbox section was cable tied up. How they squeezed the middle pipe rubbers on is anyone's guess. With a jdm cat it would have sat perfectly.

odometer say 145,000miles i think
dont know if it is a mix of km/miles but it says mph on the speedo :)
its a very early 1991 JDM BB1 :geek:
yep i like the phantom grey - my red BB4 was half phantom grey at one point and still has a pg bonnet on it
thanks for the good wishes 8-)

the japspeed exhaust we took off the car was practically brand new but had the wrong size cat fitted so like @newkid says it was cable tied onto the hangers as a result it stuck out about 3 inches too far
even then it was quieter than OEM but that may be due to the fact it has a decible killer/bung in it.

I will get some pics of the car once i get it back from the mot but the custom exhaust is a very good fit and im really pleased that steve suggested we change it over immediately ;)
