Outdoor car cover

Post by cebul » Thu Dec 03, 2015 6:29 am

Hi, anybody can recommend any good car cover?

Need to cover my car for about 2 weeks and I would like to put any cover on it. Looking for something good, what not make any scratches on the car and not get rip in pieces when wind hit in it.

Hope I'm not trading on @Dino's toes but he's bought a Stormforce one. I'm in the process of ordering one on his recommendation, as they sound to be rather good. They're also good on the customer service side, offering very helpful advice.

This is the one Dino bought, which I'm also buying from them.

Just bought one of those myself for the BB4, having previously bought a voyager for the BA8 (which they actually sent out a monsoon by mistake). Turned up within 2 days. this Sunday will be the first time I fit it.
Have a look in Dino's posts and you'll see one where he's commented on use of it and a few pics showing inside/outside of the cover.
The cover on the BA8 fits very well (although it hasn't yet had to fit over the whole car in one piece  )

Thanks, just check and it's £144 for my car is a bit more than I've expected to pay, but it's look a like I do not have much choice after that recommendations :)

FWIW, I think it may have been me that mentioned Cover Your Car as I had just bought a 'Voyager' one - The fit is great, and I use it a couple of days a week, mainly to keep bird crap off. However, it has been on in pretty much all weathers and not ripped etc, and it has not marked the car. (Obviously make sure it's clean first)
Cost me less than £80 delivered.
As you're only needing it for two weeks, I definitely think it's up to the job, mine has had much more use than that.

I need it for 2 weeks now, but probably will need it in future in several occasions. Will have a look for that as well. Ta

Yep, that's what I've gone for, since the expectation is the bb4 will be living outside.
