Engine degreaser

Post by jjmartin349571 » Sat Dec 12, 2015 5:02 pm

Hi folks,

Can anyone recommend a decent engine degreaser, and where I can get it? I'm after one which I can dilute with water and then spray over the entire engine compartment prior to working with a brush and then pressure washing. I went to my local Halfrauds today but the range available wasn't very inspiring (and also when it comes to cleaning cars I know less than nothing  )

Cheers,
Josh

Inaccurate Samiya. You can get Subway's degreaser from their partner company's store (Subtech), not a Subway branch. Additionally, you can't buy it from their EU store so you would need to import it from the US/Canada.

Jizer is good stuff. Not sure about dilluting it and spraying though - I've used it neat and then dilluted to wash off.

If it's cheap I don't mind putting it in to my spray bottle neat. I'll have a look round the local DIY places tomorrow and see if I can get any of the above.
