Clutch

Post by JLB » Tue Dec 15, 2015 9:25 pm

So I've finally have the car back on the road and I'm still not filled with confidence by the clutch. It's a 5g that's been converted to a manual using the Accord U2Q7 gear box.

The biting point is very high. The car has done about 300 miles since fitting a genuine Honda clutch and flywheel. I've been taking it easy but on longer trips I think it's slipping again.

Can the biting point be adjusted? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

First question... Has the clutch been bled properly?

I would hope so! I can try bleeding it. Is it done the same way as bleeding your brakes?

I'll try that then when I get a chance.
