Wheres Rattys oil gone? FOUND IT.
Previously you may remember VTEC kepts cutting out for a split second.
Turns out it was because i was low on oil VERY LOW!.......This was after not much driving since a full oil change so i thought it would be up to the top. Literally a couple of hundred miles.
So i topped up the oil. About 1litre so it was exactly half way between the marks and measured on a stone cold engine on my flat driveway.
I reset the odometer.
I have driven 140miles with some VTEC red line use nothing major.
Checked my oil today and its below the bottom line. Opened my catch can and no oil in there. Stone cold engine. Same spot on my driveway.
Where oh where is Mr Oil hiding?
Could he be escaping past my piston rings and burning off?
Could he be leaking though a valve?
Where could he be?
Oh a i smoke in VTEC. As soon as i hit VTEC i smoke black and white heavier up to the red line.
Air fuel ratios are at 12.5:1 on WOT and get richer and richer to 10.5:1 at 7800rpm. I assumed im smoking because im running rich.

Yep, assuming it's not mixing with your coolant (you have checked the rad, right?) it must be burning it.
Does the supercharger take an oil feed? If so, it might not be the engine, might be the charger?
Do you still have a cat btw? It can be more difficult to notice oil or water burning off on a cat fitting engine.
