Hi Guys

I thought I would take the old girl for a run yesterday. It's been under covers for the last couple of months. Started first time on the button as usual. Now though I find that the left hand side of the instrument panel is not lighting up (fuel gauge, temp gauge) - wasn't a problem recently. Could it be some damp as got in, is it a fuse, -any bright ideas?

Does it have el dials (speedo/tacho), or standard dials? Are they lighting up ok?
Have you tried adjusting the dimmer control? Sometimes that can be affected by damp and twiddling it up and down a few times, clears it.

Thanks for the quick response. I just tried the dimmer switch trick - no luck. The speedo and tacho dial are lighting up ok - and are working. Not sure what you me by el dials.

Green LCD speedo numbers etc...

If only I didn't have 2 kids an ATR & one BB1 track car already.

Late UK cars were lovely. Great seats, EL dials etc

Hugely underrated!

Hey Guys

Thanks for all your help and advice over time, I've sold it today for price I'm fairly happy about but more importantly to someone who seems a genuine enthusiast and will cherish my beloved Prelude (despite her few recent problems). I hope he will introduce himself to you all soon - I have recommended that he should. I did shed a tear as it sped off for the last time after 20 years of nearly faultless service if you ignore the few months,

Big girl, aren't I?

Will check in for old times sake now and again.

Best wishes Ray
