Hey guys,
I'm trying to remove the fuel tank off my 5g but it just won't drop.
I've disconnected the two pipes up top but cutting them in half and undone the two straps secured by 4 bolts but it still won't budge. Am I missing something?
Anything bolting into it from under the rear seats or something?
Cheers brandon

The 2 straps are the only thing that actually secure the weight of the tank itself to the vehicle, but you will need to disconnect the wires from the sensors/sender unit and the wires and fuel lines from the pump (these will now be holding all the weight of the tank in place).
They are accessed from the boot, under 2 circular covers in the floor.
Put the straps back in place before disconnecting these, then remove the straps again after.
