Re: My new Lude - UKDM VTI
I did ask if the owner of the 4th Gen was in the forum, but Rich wasnt sure. Nice looking car thoughwurlycorner wrote:How comes 2x silver 5g's at home? Thought you only had the one?
Also, any idea whose the black/phantom 4g with (Hiro?) kit in the shop was?

The other silver 5th gen is what I bought as a donor for the engine. The guy I bought it off was going to break it until I offered to buy the whole car. It's a bb8 SiR auto. The shell is rotten, can't even jack it up at the sills. But it did have some goodies on it as well as the red half leather interior

No, I couldn't do that to my old pride and joy. It's still far too good a motor to break.wurlycorner wrote:Ah, I thought K40SXL was the donor for the black one..

Re: My new Lude - UKDM VTI
Starting to add a bit of colour to the engine bay.

I also managed to give the car a good polish with a dose of scratch x, so the kids artwork has now gone
Next up is to get my sounds installed, missing the bass line at the moment

Re: Well and truly gutted, broke again!!!
Just over a thousand miles in since I got her back on the road, and it seems this prelude just wants to eat oil pumps
The oil warning light has started flickering on when the car is up to temperature and the revs drop to 1500 and below. Rev it back up and the light goes out.
It's doing the exact same thing as it did when the oil pump failed on Salazar, except for 1 difference, the engine sounds rough and is tapping quite bad
Well and truly gutted to say the least
