Car lifts

I note that the maximum width over the pads is only 1379, which is less than the 5G's track. It may be worth measuring this on the car, as well as the length between jacking points.

Sailor is right, you definitely need to check dimensions on ramps very carefully.
Also, you will be amazed how cheaply you can pick up used, industrial ramps (better quality than a new DIY grade ramp from China) so have a look there - there are tons on eBay.

Another couple of things to check:
Maximum lift capacity. Make sure it's capable of supporting whatever the heaviest car is that you forsee lifting. I have read reports of some of the Chinese ones not being rated to the same standard as EU/US lifting standards and failing when the applicable test is tried on them.
The type of supply needed (a lot of industrial ramps are 3 phase, whereas if this is for your house you will only have single phase available). You can get three phase to single phase convertors, but that's another thing to factor into the cost.
What it sets out as requirements for the base. You will need to check you have suitable size, depth and type of construction for the base under the ramp. The last thing you want to do is be under a car if the base isn't suitable.

I like the ramp that you have but it would be to big for my garage. I only looked into this ramp as I cam drag it out onto my drive and use it. I have looked on eBay and carnt find anything similar.

Ah fair do's if you want to be able to move the ramp about.
You can still find used industrial ramps of that kind of design, though they're not as common, granted.

I have one of these they are brilliant bit diff to do centre of car underneath tho but for wheel susp engine oil changes etc even body work so you canget it to a hight easy to work with even cleaning the car is superb no bending down

even had my 2.7 407 hdi coupe which is huge and weighs a shed load on to paint the bumper and side .... I use 2 planks of wood to rase the car over the ramp as some cars are lower than other hence wood in pic

That's interesting to see - I'm moving in to a unit with a similar roof/beam height and I hadn't considered one of these lifts before...
