I was just looking at them. The insurance for them are not that bad around (£1.8k) which I think it's reasonable.4thgenphil wrote:Have you looked at jazzs?

Re: Civic EK4 Saloon - Daily
Just had some work done to the car so just updating this thread.
Brand new Brembo discs and pads at the front. My CV joints needed doing but couldn't find any place that were selling the outer CV joints for reasonable price but then luckily I found some brand new driveshafts (including all the joints and stuff) for cheaper then actual joint so just got that. Car is now free from the clickity noise and brakes are squeaking no more.
At the garage (Thanks James for the work you did)

Front discs (Before):

Driveshaft - Old vs New - The boot was broken and all the dirt got in and ruined the shaft so lucky I got it replaced.

Front discs (After):

New driveshaft in the back (just need to give the car a good clean underneath the car):

Replaced the gearbox oil at the same time:

Then next day I was off so took the advantage of the sunny weather to fix other bits and bobs that needed attention. Had the car for around 1.5 years and the rear driver side door didn't open
so managed to get the door card off even while the door was closed and managed to fix it. Now the door opens and closes so I can finally say it's a 4door saloon rather then 3rd sedan. lol. Also managed to fix the rear bumper sag and then got the car washed for £5.

Hoping the weather is great on the weekend so I can get the polisher out and polish the car.

Re: Civic EK4 Saloon - Daily
Managed to finally swap out the bottom weather shield (tray thing) that goes under the engine.. I once went over a really high car park gate latch and caught mines on it. When I reversed out the thing ripped in half .
Here is the broken on and the new one.

Also took out the SIR small rubber lip that was on the front bumper as I intend to put the JDM EK9 lip on there in the future. The SIR lip was only held with screws (botch job) lol. Took it off and tried out the JDM lip. It's replica but it's not a bad fit. Just needs painting and getting it on the car.

I also have a Coupe rear lip to go on there too. Should look good once everything is painted and on the car.

And then hail started to had to abandon work and go inside and make food.

New Civic Jordan wheels on the car to give the car a bit more OEM and factory feel. They came with better tyres then what the current Rota had. Love it as they look like mini Motegi wheels.
