Forgot How Quick A Prelude Was!

Post by Gayno » Thu Feb 25, 2016 9:21 pm

After sitting up for 4 months, I've got my lude booked in for MOT on Saturday.

Tonight I've taken it out for a drive to the local bypass road to blow out the cobwebs and *really* open the valves ;)

As my daily is an eco diesel Audi, I forget just how quick these Preludes are!! Surprised even myself!!

Fingers crossed for Saturday!!

I was the same when I started using mine properly just a few weeks ago after driving my brothers BMW X3 2.0 diesel, felt fast as hell :) needless to say I stalled the life a few times as my clutch was is much better than the Beamer lol

Good luck with the mot

Yep, my MOT actually expires on 20th May, which is the day we leave

Wanted to get it done and out the way before we go, so I'm not having to worry about it failing then trying to get it fixed in a rush before the trip.

Mine has been stationary for a month now. It probably wouldn't take more than 2 hours to get it on the road again, but the fire's lit and it's cosy indoors.
