There was a small group of us planning to go, via Amsterdam, but they all seem to be dropping out.
I believe I'm the only person to have booked anything.

Stupid question but i don't own a credit card only have a debit card, will I get stung for using it abroad?

You'll need to ask your bank, same would apply to credit card. Some charge for use, some don't. I'm with Nationwide and they don't charge. It's always worth letting your bank know you're going abroad, so they don't block your card if they see it being used abroad.

I used my Barclays card in Spain, didn't get charged but you have to let them know you're going there otherwise they can block the card. :idea:
