exactly my sentiments - guy i speak to at my local petrol station whos always looking at the ludes said he thought damage was caused by a shopping trolley or wheelie bin being shoved along the side- if it had been a car or van it would have clipped the wing mirror and scraped the door.

anyway ive ordered up some fine grit 2000/2500 carbide wet n dry

Kaiten Flywheel-Link to info

Post by vanzep » Fri Mar 11, 2016 5:54 pm

it will all be getting fitted soon :)

I thought id put a link to the info on the Kaiten Flywheel and info on the bushing you swap over from the OEM FLywheel.
Look to be identical to the H22 JUN flywheel with the difference being in material spec and finish.

link to info in newkids lude profile - starts half way down the page :)

http://www.ludegeneration.co.uk/profile ... 7-220.html

and link to seller info:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-ACCORD- ... SwuYVWnUP7

Will update you all once its fitted.

Post by vanzep » Mon Mar 14, 2016 12:23 pm

stripped a rocker cover ready for refurb - going with wrinkle blue this time :)

also bought some new rear discs - took a bit of a gamble buying a make id never heard of but when they turned up they turned out to be high quality coated discs. these were cheap - wondering if it is a listing error

Re: 1991 JDM BB1 - Rocker Cover and Rear Discs

Post by vanzep » Mon Mar 14, 2016 12:53 pm

Ive bought a few more - will wait and see if they turn up - will probably have a set going spare if you need ;)
If they all turn out to be this make then i will post up a link

Ive also gone with Mitsuba Timing Belt from Eurocarparts at £12 - ive seen mitsuba aux belts and i think it was mitsuba timing belt that was on my BB4 - anyway i think its OEM and made in Japan so should be good and ive ordered an upgrade gates balance belt at £10. The upgrade balance belt is 1mm wider than the 5235XS belt that we get here in UK - its also cheaper :) I will post up more info on that once ive got it here and compared it against the OEM belt.

also noticed the other day that someone has been right along the drivers side of the car and my once pristine arches are no longer pristine - damage is only to paintwork over front and rear arch and there is one long deep scratch about 5 inches long on the front wing - ive also noticed there are three small dents low down on the drivers door - depressing stuff

polishing it up has improved it slightly - guess it could have been worse :x
My last 4th gen same colour as your Bb1 and parked at work
Image

It actually polished out and was mostly some kind off waxy material left from a bullbar as i remember the near new 4wd i had parked beside that eve thinking it was the safest spot :x

Even looking at the pic again has me like "how the hell" but the light in the snap plays it up too,it was barely noticeable after some quick Meguiars machining.
