Aero blade wipers on a 4g

Post by wurlycorner » Fri Jul 22, 2016 10:15 am

Anyone fitted a set?

Pics?

I need to stick some new blades on the BB4 and wanna see what it looks like - I've seen aero's on some other old cars and think they look cack, so wanna try before I buy :D

Ta

(incidentally, a google search for aero blade wipers prelude brings up a trail of pics of now dead preludes on Nafe's drive  )

If you have a Wilkinsons (Wilko) near you, they do an aero wiper much cheap. Could be good as a stand in and to check the look?

Interesting...
Thanks! :D

(I do have one 5 mins from me, though unfortunately you have to pay to park, so that puts the price up  )

EDIT: just looked it up. comes with 8... EIGHT different fitment connectors?!
The world has gone mad... :suicide:

I had them on mine for a bit, the adaptor that is needed for hooked arms looks Clubbing Eddy, it's mahoosive - so went back to normal blades. I always meant to check what newer Honda had similar length wiper arms and took aero blades - assuming the spline would be the same of course!

Yep, exactly that Bennyboy.

And also indigo - you've hit the nail on the head one of the reasons why I think aeroblades might look jobby.

Bosch Areoblades on my old 4G

So much tidier. Come with retro-fit hook type fitting so no bigger than a normal wiper.

I guess it's a matter of prefference.
don't particulary like the look of aero blades on any car. even swapped to "retro" blades on family estate for aestetic reasons when time to change wipers came..

and yes, the adapters that go to bin is a ridiculous thing... :|
