Does anyone know the size of the tachometer lights? where i can find this out? ...maybe where i can buy some?

Which ones exactly? I recently bought these for my 5th gen to fix the seatbelt light and a couple of others, the dimensions shown in the image were actually wrong and they are actually 4mm in width which is spot on.

do they still come out yellowish? i shaved the backing of my gauges to get a brighter shine yet they still give a slight yellow.
i want white lights at night.

No idea mate i only used them to replace warning lights, but id guess these would still be yellowish.

If you want white, go for an equivalent (direct fit) led

Once you find out the reference model of the bulbs the dash needs, type that and "led" in and you will find a direct fit replacement.

Yeah you can remove the fascia and shave the back of the tachometer and that will make it less dim.

That's the stage I'm at.
