All the parts for an auto to manual conversion

Post by Phil87 » Wed Mar 15, 2017 6:43 pm

As 4th gen phil beat me to Jonnyb's pirate lude it's time to look at getting my current car sorted out. I have a 5th gen ukdm 2.2 auto and want to start process of getting it converted to a manual. I've seen a few posts on here before where some guys had nearly all of the things required for the conversion. Not a requirement but if anyone has a good set of the parts required please let me know.

IMO you would be best to buy a breaker car and harvest all the useful pieces from that for the conversion. Then sell the rest of the bits from the breaker to pay for the conversion.

If you can do a clutch, you can do it.

That ^^^^
It's a very easy conversion on a 4g.
No complex technical mods or anything.

Oops, except for the gearbox bracket that will need welding on.

Doesn't that depend on the age of the lude?
Early ones like yours were different auto-manual, but thought later 4g's were the same??? :?
