Dont suppose any one has a Timing Belt Rubber Seal (Lower)?

Post by Lankysod07 » Tue Mar 21, 2017 4:06 pm

Hey all,

So this weekend I am having the H23 manual tensioner kits fitted but I have noticed I am missed the following seal:

Seal, Timing Belt Rubber (Lower) - 11811-P13-A00

Item 2# in the diagram below.

Finding someone who has one of these fresh in a packet isnt going to happen, but any breakers or anyone possibly got one I have buy?

I would take the bullet and buy it new, bit its not going to be here in time :(

TBH I wouldn't worry. I bet half the H22's out there are missing it. It is a right bitch to put back on.

Yeah it's a jobby to get to stay in position when refitting the lower cover.
A couple of globs of PU sealant are helpful I think.

+1 on the glue. When I did my cam belt changed I sprayed some contact glue inside the rubber just to keep it in place while it was refitted.
