Welcome, only just seen this thread.
Very clean looking lude and leather in a 2.0 is quite a rare combination?
There was a thread very recently about whether it was OK to remove the heat shield (it's not just a heat shield, it also acts as a noise/vibration damper, BTW). You can do it yes and might not notice any difference, however the bonnet might also get slightly hotter and might vibrate a little more.

I sold this car before 2 weeks and I bought another model of course Honda! Prelude is a very good car but now i am with Civic R.
