WANTED Driveshafts for a 2.2 BB4 2ws

Post by Archie Roku » Tue Oct 31, 2017 3:42 pm

Well after the mini meet at the weekend, the drive there and back highlighted just how bad my driveshafts are. The main culprit is the inner cv joint on the offside driveshaft, so no more modding until this is sorted

With mine being a 2ws model, are these compatible:
4th gen 4ws
5th gen 4ws
Accord type r

Also what about the Auto's?

Any help will be highly appreciated :)

i had a look at atr driveshafts but the spline/thread that goes into the hub is about 10mm shorter - but then most aftermarket outer cv joints seem to have shorter spline as well. The inner cv joints looked to be the same and fairly sure the 5th gen inner cv joints are the same as 4g
Ive got a spare set of 4th gen inner cv cups and bearings if you cant find anything near by.

Thanks vanzep for the info on the ATR shafts. I guess it's ok to use them even if there a bit shorter especially if other aftermarket parts are as well. I'm not having much luck finding anything at the moment, so I may have those inner cv's off you at some point. Cheers dude :)

you could swap the inner cv joints for the atr ones and retain the 4g shaft and outer cv joint. ;)

Driveshafts on a 4ws/2ws lude of the same Gen, are exactly the same.
The only difference in 4g Ludes is between auto/manual.
