I have my 5th generation 1998 (R) 2.2 VTI 4WS manual for sale.

I have owned it for 3 years and it has been a second car. It has 54k miles and plenty of history, two sets of keys and the red key. Previously it has been owned by a guy in Halifax whose wife could not get in and out so it was in his garage for several years. It is completely original and even has OEM headlight protectors fitted. I still have the original stereo but it has a cheap Bluetooth one fitted at the moment.

Mechanically it is great. I had a Honda specialist in London to look over it last year. It had a new cambelt fitted, clutch slave cylinder replaced, two new tyres and an aircon leak fixed and refilled and it does run cool. It also had a new exhaust the year before.

Cosmetically the rear wheel arch is starting to rust on one side and there is a scrape on the other side where I clipped a pole in a car park. It also has a cracked front number plate. I was quoted £650 to everything last year but rather spent on the mechanical stuff as I enjoy driving it rather than looking at it. Mind you it does clean up really nicely.

MOTed until May 2019

Looking for £1300 as is otherwise I will probably tidy it up a bit and enjoy it for another summer

Looks good - fantastic low miles, had all the big servicing work done and I don't think I've ever seen oem headlamp protectors on a 5th gen before.
Just needs those arches sorting.

Hi Phil
You can buy replacement rear arch panels via the forum, if these are really rusty (difficult to see from the pic) then that should be your first stop nb: no body shop has access to rear quarter repair panels.
I have two bodyshops I've used in Essex for this very job on my 4th gen (one in Chelmsford and one in Rayleigh) that I can recommend and you're welcome to come and look at my preludes to see the work done if you'd like.
Where about in Essex are you?
