Windscreen Washer Jets not working
My washer jets have stopped working - filled up the reservoir but the motor on the pump isnt working - cant hear anything - so presume its a fuse thats blown - does anyone know which fuse to check?

if the reservoir has run dry, the motor can get a bit bound up with gunk. Had it happen on and old jag once. Whilst an assistant has the stalk pulled on to activate the motor, give the motor a decent tap with a hammer - that can free it up.
otherwise no idea which fuse it is, easier to check them all then try to look it up heh.

Windscreen Washer Jets not working
cheers for the info.
im unsure if there are two motors one for front washer and one for rear washer or just the one serving both - either way both are not functioning.
i did run the resevoir dry and cant hear anything from the washer motor(s) however both sets of wipers are working.
fuse 17 is the one for the wipers i think but will check it out.
was wanting to avoid pulling fuses in and out but looks like i will have to...
will try giving the motor a tap with a hammer as it might have jammed up with crud from bottom of the resevoir tank - so worth a try
checked on lings and there are two motors

MOTOR WASHER FR
76806-SE0-J01
(PFKL831132)
MOTOR, RR. WASHER (MITSUB
neither are cheap parts but i think the front wiper motor is same as 5th gen one

There are 2 motors if you have 2 washers, there isn't a valve or solenoid to switch the pumper fluid, just 2 motors.
you might get away with vibrations freeing the motor, try holding the stalk whilst driving over some cobbles. If you can drain the fluid somehow - pouring in very hot water can dislodge the crud (but wont smell pleasant!). Hard to do if you've filled it up already though and motor isn't working. I picked up a 12v fluid pump from lidl for just such an occasion.
I've not heard of a motor burning out before...

Also check if the plug contacts on the motor/plug are clean/not corroded.

Windscreen Washer Jets not working
I have checked all the fuses and they are all ok so i am a bit stumped as to why both motors not working....just wondering if it might be a problem with the switch on the indicator stalk?
guess im going to have to get under the car, remove the splash shield and have a look at the motors and wiring first

Windscreen Washer Jets not working
If it's both motors not working, then there is only one common point - the ignition switch (which would mean several other things also not working I think) or ground (at location G301)
Everything else in the circuit is shown to be separate - including fuses (see page 23-340 and 23-341 in the service manual).
Ground would be where I start then, before even looking at the connections on the motors.
Other circuits running into G301 are shown on page 23-68 in the service manual.
This shows that the grounds come back into a common junction connector and then onto the ground post.
Page 23-23 shows where G301 is located (kind of on the chassis rail under the passenger side headlight).

well had look at the ground G301 and all appears ok - no corrosion - impossible to get the connector apart
took out the yellow level indicator sponge out of washer bottle and end of it was black - looked like oil
so im going to have to take the whole thing off the car and clean it all out anyway - good news is that i just need to remove the front passenger side arch cover to access the washer bottle and pumps.
funny thing is i lost a ground on the headlights on the other side at G201 last year - got it working again and added another earth from the headlight connector to chassis and all has been fine since.
Just wondering if all this points to a problem such as the stalks(switch) or the ICM Integrated control module on the interior fusebox or a problem with the ignition switch or ecu
I do however have spares of all these items
